Netflix has released the first full trailer for its upcoming reality series Squid Game: The Challenge, which premieres this November.
The new Squid Game spin-off will launch on November 22. The competition hosts 456 real-life contestants battling it out in various challenges inspired by the hit Korean drama Squid Game, as well as some surprising new additions, to make it to the end of the competition and take home the $4.56 million cash prize. Competitors dressed in the famous green and white tracksuits looked stunned as they walked on set for the first time. “You have got to be kidding me,” one person gasped as lumps of cash fell into a transparent globe. “People do a whole lot worse for a whole lot less.”
The trailer lives true to the series. Familiar games are shown in the trailer. Young-Hee; the creepy doll who detects if players are still moving during the game “Red Light, Green Light”. We can also see scenes of the contestants attempting to safely reach her without getting ‘shot’.
