Marvel is celebrating 100 days until Black Widow opens in theaters.
To mark 100 days until the film’s arrival, Marvel has released a short Black Widow teaser featuring previously-released footage from the film. You can check it out, below.
Set between the events of Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War, Black Widow will explore a shadowy conspiracy with links to Natasha’s past as a Russian spy and assassin. Hunted, Natasha revisits relationships she left far behind before joining with S.H.I.E.L.D. and Earth’s Mightiest Heroes. The updated synopsis from Marvel Studios is below.
In Marvel Studios’ action-packed spy thriller Black Widow, Natasha Romanoff aka Black Widow confronts the darker parts of her ledger when a dangerous conspiracy with ties to her past arises. Pursued by a force that will stop at nothing to bring her down, Natasha must deal with her history as a spy and the broken relationships left in her wake long before she became an Avenger.
Directed by Cate Shortland, Black Widow stars Scarlett Johansson as Natasha, Florence Pugh stars as Yelena, David Harbour as Alexei aka The Red Guardian and Rachel Weisz as Melina. The film opens on May 1, 2020.
