It seems that Thanos isn’t quite done with the Avengers as a new image gives us our first look at Josh Brolin’s character in Avengers: Endgame.

On this newly unveiled cover for the next issue of Empire, The Mad Titan can be seen in his full armor, which appears to be slightly upgraded from what we saw during the events of Avengers: Infinity War. Also, it appears the Infinity Gauntlet isn’t destroyed in this image like it was after the now-infamous snap, which decimated half of all life across the universe.

Another thing worth pointing out, the cover features Thanos himself in some pretty spruced up armor but you’ll also notice that the magazine’s barcode is not the typical rectangle, instead going for the shape of a certain feline.

That’s right, the barcode is in the shape of a cat, and it’s none other than Goose the cat who charmed so many in Captain Marvel. With Goose being one of the many highlights from Captain Marvel, does this mean we will see the lovable cat in Endgame? Fans would love it for sure, and there’s got to be a humorous way to bring Goose into the plot without derailing things.

The Mad Titan’s specific role in the Avengers Endgame has also been the topic of many fan theories. Previous leaks teasing “an even greater threat,” have fueled speculation of a new foe entering the story, though looking at new image, it’s clear that Thanos can still make for an intimidating enough villain in his own right.

Little’s been revealed about Avengers: Endgame; Marvel Studios has released two and a half trailers for the upcoming blockbuster and fans are still left scratching their heads when it comes to trying to put together a potential plot.

What do you make of this first look image? Are you looking forward to seeing Thanos take on the Avengers in full armor? Let us know what you think in the comments below!
