An updated version of the Avengers: Endgame poster is released to include a credit for Danai Gurira after fan outrage online.
It’s not unusual for names to be left off movie posters, but the absence of Gurira’s name stuck out, given that Okoye is actually featured on the poster. Gurira was initially the only actor not credited on the poster, with even voice actors Bradley Cooper and Josh Brolin being listed.

The lack of recognition for the Black Panther star quickly became the source of some outrage online by fans who were furious that Marvel did not credit her with the rest of the film’s pictured stars. It took them a few hours, but Marvel has now re-released the Endgame poster to include a credit for Gurira. They shared the new design on social media saying: “She should have been up there all this time.”
Okoye was a major player in Black Panther and Avengers: Infinity War, where she was last seen witnessing T’Challa turn to dust following the snap.
