He has played the part of Thor since his debut as the God of Thunder in the character’s self-titled debut in 2011.

But Chris Hemsworth remained tight-lipped on the fate of the Asgardian warrior in Avengers: Endgame when he was asked on The Ellen Show about the ending.

Hemsworth appeared on The Ellen Show to discuss the film and claimed to not know if Thor survives until the end. He told Ellen, “It’s funny, I feel like a fan of this whole thing as much as anyone else, and I’m interested to see if I live or die or what happens to me [laughs]. I have a rough idea of what happens, but no, I have not seen the film and I really do not know how it ends.”

The cast of Avengers: Endgame are currently doing their press tour, which can prove to be difficult when they aren’t able to share much about the film. Hemsworth went on to tell Ellen, “We’ve been doing the press tour and everyone’s like, ‘Tell us about the movie,’ and we’re like, ‘We can’t.’ Can’t tell you anything.”

Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, Avengers: Endgame stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Paul Rudd, Brie Larson, Karen Gillan, Danai Gurira, Benedict Wong, Jon Favreau and Bradley Cooper, with Gwyneth Paltrow and Josh Brolin. The film arrives April 26.
