Spider-Man 3 fan-art imagines Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock offering his legal services to the web-slinging hero. At the end of Jon Watts’ Spider-Man: Far From Home, Peter Parker (Tom Holland) found himself in the middle of his biggest personal crisis ever. Not only was Spider-Man’s real identity outed thanks to a heavily edited video of Quentin Beck (Jake Gyllenhaal) broadcasted by The Daily Bugle, but he’s also being framed for killing Mysterio. This becomes the springboard for the narrative of the character’s third solo film, which is slated to release December of next year.

With his personal mentor, Tony Stark/Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), gone following the events of Avengers: Endgame, Peter might just have to get out of this situation by himself. Far From Home didn’t give any indication of what the young hero’s next move will be as it only showed him freaking out. While that’s the case, one fan is suggesting that he might get some help from a fellow New York-based Marvel hero in Daredevil.

Digital artist erathrim20 shares his latest Spider-Man 3 artwork, and it imagines Matt offering Peter legal advice while the pair casually hang out atop a New York rooftop. Fans in the comment section appear to like the idea – some of them pitching this idea to Marvel Studios. Check it out below:

The idea of Daredevil appearing in Spider-Man 3 has been tossed around for quite a while now, but as cool as the idea is, there’s a bigger chance that it might not happen. That’s despite the fact that rights to Daredevil will soon return to Marvel Studios, meaning they can use him in their future projects. At this point, the MCU has a string of heroes at their disposal, especially with the X-Men and Fantastic Four just waiting to be incorporated in the franchise. This means, that without any sense of urgency to use Daredevil, Kevin Feige and his team might opt to shelve the role for a while to give a bit of separation between Marvel TV/Netflix version and their take on the character. Doing this is pivotal since Cox’s iteration has been well-liked with Daredevil season 3 hailed as one of the best Marvel small screen projects to date.

With the unlikely possibility of Cox’s Daredevil making an appearance in Spider-Man 3, chances are that the film will feature a different Marvel character – one that may already be in the MCU like what they did in Spider-Man: Homecoming and Far From Home. The question now is who it might be. All the remaining MCU heroes are busy with their own solo adventures that it’s difficult to pinpoint who can co-star with Holland in the threequel. Otherwise, it’s also possible that there won’t be any cameos this time – letting Spider-Man deal with the crisis himself which would be for the best in terms of his character arc.
