Firenado Introduces a New Threat
“Scott and Rhys have done it again. Firenado is rip-roaring entertainment!.” Uncork’d Entertainment President Keith Leopard said of the release. “With great effects, wonderful cinematography and some fun performances, it’s a perfect fit for Uncork’d”.
We would expect for a disaster movie from Jeffrey and Waterfield to be outlandish given that the team are behind Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey. That film, a horror parody of Winnie the Pooh, has been getting a lot of attention in recent months for boldly putting a dark spin on a beloved children’s character. They’ll also be back at it with another planned horror film that spoofs Bambi, as well as another film that puts the horror twist on Peter Pan.
“Essentially we’ve been kind of doing that for the last like, year now. Like with you know like Humpty Dumpty and things like that and there was there was other ideas we had in mind,” Waterfield has said of brainstorming movie ideas. “For example like Thor, the Norse God isn’t the property of Marvel so we could do kind of our own interpretation of that if we wanted. It didn’t have the same like ring as Winnie did so we went on Winnie and done that. We’ve got loads of other ones planned as well so like we’re doing a Peter Pan one.”
Firenado will be released on digital outlets on Jan. 3, 2023, followed by its release on DVD on Feb. 14, 2023.
