No one is safe from Thanos and the snap – not even Google, who added a fun Avengers: Infinity War-inspired Easter Egg ahead of the worldwide release of Avengers: Endgame.

Just type “Thanos” into the Google search bar on your desktop or mobile device. Then click the Infinity Gauntlet that appears on the right side of the screen.

If you’ve done as instructed, you’re no doubt chuckling at the effect. However, if you’re too gun-shy to approach anything online that might expose you to spoilers, we’ll explain what happens: When you click on the Gauntlet, the animated fingers snap (accompanied by sound effects, no less), and half of the search results disappear from the page in what resembles clouds of dust.

The way the characters turned to dust has become the source of a number of jokes, memes, and a marketing tool for many brands, with Marvel Studios themselves even adding the dusting effect to their logo at the beginning of the trailers for Avengers: Endgame.

Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, Avengers: Endgame stars Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, Chris Evans as Captain America, Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, Brie Larson as Captain Marvel, Paul Rudd as Ant-Man, Don Cheadle as War Machine, Karen Gillan as Nebula, Danai Gurira as Okoye and Bradley Cooper as Rocket, with Gwyneth Paltrow Pepper Potts, Jon Favreau as Happy Hogan, Benedict Wong as Wong, Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie and Josh Brolin as Thanos. The film is playing now worldwide.
