Blumhouse has announced two sequels to 2018’s Halloween.
Blumhouse Productions announced that Halloween Kills and Halloween Ends would continue the saga of Michael Myers and Jamie Lee Curtis’ Laurie Strode in 2020 and 2021, respectively. The announcement was made with a video teaser that featured several clips from last year’s film.
Both movies will be directed by David Gordon Green again, with different writers tackling each of the scripts. Green and Danny McBride will work on both scripts, but Scott Teems will co-write Halloween Kills with them, while Paul Brad Logan and Chris Bernier do the same on Halloween Ends.
Curtis took to Twitter to celebrate the news and confirm the return of her iconic horror heroine Laurie Strode.
Directed by David Gordon Green from a script by himself, Danny McBride and Scott Teems, Halloween Kills stars Jamie Lee Curtis. The film is set to hit theaters on Oct. 16, 2020.
