Ice Cube announces Release Date for 'Last Friday'

Ice Cube announced today that he hopes to release the 4th and last Friday movie, rumored to be titled ‘Last Friday’, on the 25th anniversary of the original movie. This would be April 26, 2020.

Cube appeared on the ESPN basketball program, The Jump, and gave viewers an update on the film.

“We are pushing for it, we finished the script, we are getting notes from the studio and it’s going back and forth,” said Cube. “Get into pre-production and start hiring. It would be nice for this to come out on the 25th anniversary. That would be kinda…” to which The Jump host Rachel Nichols quipped, “A good day.”

This is great news for fans who have been yearning for Ice Cube to bring back the original cast for one last Friday movie.

It’s been 17 years since the release of the last film in the ‘Friday’ franchise. Friday (1995) , Next Friday (2000), Friday After Next (2002)
