Jackass 4 is officially happening, gets a 2021 release date.

For fans of grown men kicking each other in the crotch, this is big news as it’s been almost a decade since Jackass 3D. The movies, based on the 2002 MTV gross-out series created by Johnny Knoxville, Spike Jonze and Jeff Tremaine, have been incredibly lucrative for Paramount, and Knoxville and Tremaine also teamed up for the successful film Bad Grandpa, indicating there’s very much an audience for this creative team to make new movies.

Deadline has now reported that Jackass 4 is on its way, with a March 5, 2021 release date officially confirmed by Paramount.

Though the fourth film has no official title as of this writing, past rumors have indicated that it could be called Jackass 4: We’re Not Dunn Yet, in honor of deceased former Jackass member, Ryan Dunn. Tragically, Dunn was killed in a car accident in 2011 and this has been one of numerous setbacks for the famed stunt crew.

Directed by Jeff Tremaine, Jackass 4 stars Johnny Knoxville and is expected to release in March 2021.
