Jurassic Park co-stars Laura Dern and Sam Neill have reunited for a photograph.
It’s been over 25 years since Jurassic Park hit theaters. Since then, it’s become a massive franchise — spawning sequels, a new trilogy of films, and theme park rides. Sam Neill and Laura Dern were two of the original cast members of Jurassic Park and it’s been several years since they’ve played those characters.
The actors both attended the Television Critics Association press tour this past week and ended up bumping into each other on an HBO red carpet, with Sam taking the opportunity to take a reunion selfie, which he posted to Twitter on Saturday.
Both celebrities shared the photo on social media and welcomed a wave of nostalgia from their Jurassic Park days. And 26 years later, these two still look good!
Even though it was a tiny part, one of the fan-favorite moments of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom was the return of Jeff Goldblum’s Ian Malcolm. Seeing Neill and Dern together again only adds fuel to the fire on what we would like to see in the third Jurassic World film. Well, that and the explanation on how they were able to create Jurassic World in the first place. The film clearly stated that without Dennis Nedry they couldn’t get Jurassic Park back online. What were they thinking was going to happen when they tried to create an entire world without him?
Jurassic World 3 is scheduled for release on June 11, 2021.
