Oscar-winner Mahershala Ali has signed on to play Blade in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige announced on Saturday.

Feige revealed at Comic-Con International in San Diego at the company’s panel that Ali would play Blade in the MCU. At this time, it’s not totally clear when Ali will make his debut. However, Marvel Studios released a logo with the character’s name on Twitter, indicating that the project could be something on Disney+ or a film, though that’s just speculation at this time.

No further details were announced about Blade, beyond Ali’s casting.
