Birds of Prey is here to kick off 2020 in a pretty epic way. Nearly a month before the film’s release, Warner Bros. has officially debuted the second full trailer for Birds of Prey, giving audiences the latest look at the female-fronted ensemble film, and its team-up between Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie), Black Canary (Jurnee Smollett-Bell), Huntress (Mary Elizabeth Winstead), Cassandra Cain (Ella Jay Basco), and Renee Montoya (Rosie Perez).
The first trailer for Birds of Prey released in early October and introduced fans to the cast of characters set to join Harley Quinn on her next adventure. New characters set to appear in the film include Huntress, Cassandra Cain, Black Mask, Black Canary and more. However, Jared Leto’s Joker won’t cameo in Birds of Prey.
Birds of Prey marks the first time star Margot Robbie has reprised her role as the DC Extended Universe’s Harley Quinn since debuting as the character in 2016’s Suicide Squad. Robbie’s Harley Quinn will also appear in James Gunn’s upcoming The Suicide Squad.
Directed by Cathy Yan from a script by Christina Hodson, Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) stars Margot Robbie, Jurnee Smollett-Bell, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Rosie Perez, Ewan McGregor, Steven Williams, Derek Wilson, Dana Lee, Francois Chau, Charlene Amoia, Chris Messina and Matthew Willig. The film is scheduled for release on Feb. 7, 2020.
