Our spider sense is tingling.
While we still wait for word on a sequel to Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, the Sony Pictures Animation account has seemingly hyped up a future announcement.
“Something’s up. Our Spider sense is tingling. RT if yours is, too,” the tweet reads.
What exactly the account is referring to is anyone’s guess. It could be an official announcement of a Spider-Verse sequel, one of the TV shows Sony curently has in development or a completely new project that has not yet been reported or rumored. It is currently reported that the studio has five to six series in the pipeline.
Directed by Bob Persichetti, Peter Ramsey, and Rodney Rothman, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse stars Shameik Moore, Brian Tyree Henry, Jake Johnson, Mahershala Ali, Hailee Steinfeld, Liev Schreiber, Luna Lauren Velez, Lily Tomlin, Nicolas Cage, John Mulaney and Kimiko Glenn. The film is available on Digital HD, 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD.
