New set pictures offer a fresh look at Kit Harington and Gemma Chan in the upcoming Marvel Studios film The Eternals.
Posted on Twitter by @marvelstuff, the photos show Harington and Chan embracing outside of a laundromat. The context of the photos isn’t clear at this time. However, in the comics, Black Knight and Sersi have a romantic relationship that is, at times, quite tumultuous and scandalous. For example, at one point, Sersi became the target of attacks from a villain named Proctor, who was later revealed to be an alternate version of Black Knight that had been driven mad by the Ebony Blade.
At this time, little is known about The Eternals, which is based on Jack Kirby’s team of the same name. However, the move is one of the first in Phase Four and will help set the tone for future installments of the MCU following the events of Avengers: Endgame and the end of the Infinity Saga.
Directed by Chloé Zhao from a script written by Matthew K. Firpo and Ryan Firpo, The Eternals stars Angelina Jolie, Richard Madden, Gemma Chan, Kit Harington, Kumail Nanjiani, Lauren Ridloff, Brian Tyree Henry, Salma Hayek, Lia McHugh, Don Lee, and Barry Keoghan.
The Eternals will be released in theaters on November 6, 2020.
