Tom Holland has been playing a superhero in the Marvel Cinematic Universe since 2016. However, the Spider-Man: Far From Home star proved he’s a real-life hero as well, at least in the eyes of his fans.

While signing autographs in New York City, NY during the cast’s latest stop on the Spider-Man: Far From Home press tour, Holland stepped in to prevent autograph seekers from crushing a young fan. The fan, Twitter user @NamelessCass, posted a video of Holland and a description of the circumstances from which the Spider-Man actor saved her. See her tweet and watch the video below.

Apparently, for Holland, being a friendly neighborhood Spider-Man not only transcends the neighborhood but the big screen. That’s fortunate because with great star-power comes great responsibility.

Opening July 2, director Jon Watts’ Spider-Man: Far From Home stars Tom Holland, Samuel L. Jackson, Zendaya, Cobie Smulders, Jon Favreau, JB Smoove, Jacob Batalon and Martin Starr, with Marisa Tomei and Jake Gyllenhaal.
