Top Gun: Maverick flies again tomorrow. Paramount Pictures today released a new poster for the Top Gun sequel.
The poster shows Capt. Pete “Maverick” Mitchell, played by Tom Cruise, glancing skyward as he leans against a plane. Paramount also confirmed that a new trailer for the film will debut on Monday. You can take a look at the poster below.
Top Gun: Maverick will be a sequel to the iconic 1986 movie Top Gun. Cruise will reprise his role as Pete “Maverick” Mitchell, although he will have risen in the ranks during his time off-screen. Maverick will be a flight instructor for a group of younger pilots, but the previous looks at the sequel promise that he won’t just be sitting on the sidelines.
Top Gun: Maverick opens in theaters on June 26, 2020.
