Michelle Williams will reprise her role as Anne Weying in Venom 2. Williams appeared in her first superhero movie just last year. Ruben Fleischer’s Venom introduced Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock, while Williams played his love interest Anne Weying.
When talking with Yahoo! about her recent film After the Wedding, Williams confirmed that she’ll be reprising her role in Venom 2. Williams’ then went on to praise Andy Serkis, who was recently hired to direct, saying, “I’m such a fan of Andy’s, and I’m so inspired by what he’s been able to accomplish. He’s so gifted in such a specific way, and I’m very excited to learn from him and be around him”. Williams also hopes to see the return of She-Venom, mentioning, “I hope I get equal time that way — I can say that!”.

As of now, little is known about the sequel, although the first film teased Woody Harrelson as Carnage, so while he hasn’t signed on to the project yet, it’s a safe bet the maniacal Symbiote will appear in the film. Perhaps we could even see Weying fully suit up as She-Venom, or at least some variation of the character.
Starring Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock, Venom 2 does not yet have a release date.
