The iconic GEICO Gecko is featured in a new ad for the insurance company, where the mascot is passing by a theater showing Avengers: Endgame. For a moment, the Gecko envisions a world where he wields the Infinity Gauntlet and all six stones.
For a moment, the Gecko imagines a world where he possesses the Infinity Gauntlet with its six stones. With the Gauntlet, the Gecko alters reality by snapping his fingers. However, instead of eradicate half of all life, this reduces the cost of car insurance for a number of members before he realizes it’s all in his head.
The GEICO/Marvel commercials have become something of a tradition in the last few years. For Avengers: Infinity War, a short ad was released highlighting the Gecko seemingly joining alongside the Avengers to fight Thanos.
Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, Avengers: Endgame stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Paul Rudd, Brie Larson, Karen Gillan, Danai Gurira, Benedict Wong, Jon Favreau and Bradley Cooper, with Gwyneth Paltrow and Josh Brolin. The film arrives April 26.
