Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse gets the Honest Trailers treatment in a new video.
In lieu of a typical Honest Trailer, the Spider-Verse video features guest star appearances by Felicia Day (The Guild, Supernatural), Critical Role‘s Matt Mercer, comedian Vanessa Gritton (a Screen Junkies veteran), and YouTuber Mr. Sunday Movies as Epic Voiceover Narrators from other dimensions in the, er, Honest Trailers-verse.
As of right now, two Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse follow-ups are officially on the docket: a sequel which will explore Miles Morales’ and Gwen Stacy’s romantic relationship, and a spinoff which will see Spider-Gwen teaming up with other female Spider-heroes, like Jessica, Drew, a.k.a. the original Spider-Woman, and Cindy Moon, a.k.a. Silk.
Directed by Bob Persichetti, Peter Ramsey, and Rodney Rothman, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse stars Shameik Moore, Brian Tyree Henry, Jake Johnson, Mahershala Ali, Hailee Steinfeld, Liev Schreiber, Luna Lauren Velez, Lily Tomlin, Nicolas Cage, John Mulaney and Kimiko Glenn. The film is available on digital HD, UltraHD, 4K, Blu-ray and DVD.
