Saban Films has released the official trailer for The Secret Kingdom. The fantasy adventure film has drawn comparisons to the classic movie The Never-Ending Story, described as this generation’s version of that cult classic. While there’s no Falcor to be found, riding a high-flying creature is a part of the story and one of the many interesting things to happen to two children who uncover a secret kingdom. The film releases in theaters, as well as on VOD and On Demand, on June 9, and you can watch the new trailer below.
Matt Drummond (My Pet Dinosaur, Dinosaur Island) wrote and directed the film. It stars Sam Everingham (Hardball), Alyla Browne (The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart), Alice Parkinson (Doctor Doctor), Chris Gabardi (The Secret Life of Us), Darius Williams (Home and Away), and Beth Champion (The Legend of the Five).
