New Barbie trailer reveals a more detailed look at the highly-anticipated movie. Directed by Greta Gerwig and co-written by Gerwig and Noah Baumbach, the upcoming film stars Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling, leading a star-studded ensemble cast which includes Simu Liu, Emma Mackey, America Ferrera, Issa Rae, Will Ferrell, Ncuti Gatwa, and many others. Barbie, which commenced filming in March of this year, will be the first live-action movie based on the doll franchise by Mattel of the same name. During the window of filming, several set photos and videos from Barbie went viral, though plot details still remain tightly under wraps.
Each tease for the Barbie movie has left audiences even more excited about the Robbie-led romp, with the small glimpses of the colorful wardrobe released online only adding to the hype. Recently, Robbie confirmed that the film will even feature Barbie Dream Houses, stating that the upcoming summer movie “will be everything you ever dreamed of.” Now, Warner Bros. has unveiled an official trailer for the upcoming film, letting viewers in to finally experience a snippet of Barbie’s pastel-pink world and giving more details on the story.
