Terminator stars Arnold Schwarzenegger and Linda Hamilton reunite in the trailer for the sequel, Terminator: Dark Fate.
The teaser trailer showcases Hamilton’s Sarah Connor and Schwarzenegger’s T-800, but also prominently features Mackenzie Davis’ Grace, revealed to be a Terminator/human hybrid, Gabriel Luna’s liquid-metal Terminator, and Natalia Reyes as Dani Ramos, the young woman he has targeted for termination.
Fortunately, for those who’re trying to wrap their heads around how all this fits into the Terminator timeline, there’s good news. Dark Fate will ignore the events of Terminator 3, Salvation, and Genisys, and serve as a direct continuation of Terminator 1 & 2 instead, making it a soft reboot that should help clean up the continuity of the larger franchise.
