Avengers: Endgame‘s latest TV spot has Thanos proclaiming that he won.
While some of the shots in this 30-second spot have already been seen in previous trailers, there is also some new footage, like Captain Marvel looking at the pictures of the characters who died following Thanos’ Infinity-powered finger snap. We also have a new glimpse of a weary Tony Stark, which could be taken when he is still stuck inside the Guardians’ spaceship.
Plus, a new action scene features both War Machine and Rocket in the middle of an explosion. But what’s most noteworthy is Thanos’ narration in the TV spot. “The work is done. I won. What I’m about to do… I’m gonna enjoy it. Very, very much,” the Mad Titan says, as Thor, Captain America and Iron Man all approach the supervillain for an epic battle.
The release of the spot came as a surprise for many considering that Marvel Studios has just dropped a special look at the movie in light of the release of the film’s tickets. The one-minute clip already gave fans a lot of new visuals for the movie which in turn gave fans new material for their respective theories, and the latest spot adds to that. Despite that, fans need to be cautious about building their expectations based on these trailers since the Russos’ have admitted to manipulating footage to throw off the public from figuring out the movie’s full plot.
