Amazon Prime has prepared an action-packed teaser trailer for season 2 of Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan, which returns John Krasinski to duty as the world’s most active CIA analyst. While we may not yet know exactly when Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan will make its Season 2 debut on Amazon, we’re at least getting a look at some of what to expect from Krasinski’s CIA analyst returns sometime later this year.
Season 2 of the series will take Jack on an all-new adventure, it seems, as the series shifts its focus from the Middle East to South America. Though there’s absolutely zero dialogue explaining the circumstances of Jack’s latest mission, it’s clear the teaser trailer is selling season 2 on spectacle first, and story second. Season 2 also returns Wendell Pierce as Ryan’s mentor James Greer, along with newcomers Noomi Rapace as German intelligence agent Harriet “Harry” Baumann and House of Cards‘ Michael Kelly as fellow CIA field officer Mike November. Game of Thrones alum Tom Wlaschiha also was added for the new season along with Jovan Adepo (The Leftovers), Jordi Molla (Genius) and Cristina Umaña and Francisco Denis (both from Narcos).
Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan season 2 will stream exclusively on Amazon Prime Video in 2019.
