The CW’s Batwoman has received a full Season 1 order, with the network granting the DC series a back nine order. Joining Batwoman is fellow Freshman series Nancy Drew.

After making her debut as Batwoman in the Arrowverse crossover titled Elseworlds, Ruby Rose reprised the role in the eponymous heroine’s standalone CW series this fall. Premiering on October 6, the first episode of Ruby Rose’s Batwoman drew the attention of 1.8 million viewers.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Batwoman has outperformed much of The CW lineup during its first season. Where Batwoman has made a significant impression is on digital streaming, with Batwoman gaining an 80% jump and Nancy Drew a 114% jump following Nielsen’s live-plus-seven lifts.

This marks the first season that The CW has full streaming rights to all-new series. Before this year, The CW’s streaming service would only store six or more episodes of a series. However, with the new arrangement, fans can catch up on their favorite season at any point within the season.

Batwoman stars Ruby Rose, Rachel Skarsten, Meagan Tandy, Nicole Kang, Camrus Johnson, Elizabeth Anweis, and Dougray Scott. Caroline Dries wrote the pilot and serves as an executive producer alongside Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, and Geoff Johns.

Batwoman airs on Sundays at 8:00 p.m. on The CW.
