It appears that at the 2019 International Beijing Film Festival, Norihiro Hayashida, the producer of Dragon Ball Super: Broly, made an appearance to address the future of the Dragon Ball Super series.
According to Twitter user GovetaXV, when a fan asked about the continuation of the series, Hayashida was unable to provide details of any future for the series.
“Nothing is fixed now. Toei hasn’t come up with anything yet, not anything about arrangements and when will it start. We are looking forward to it as eagerly as everyone else. There is nothing that we can answer about it right now,” stated the producer.

Obviously, for a series that is as iconic as this, there is always the possibility that Toei Animation will eventually work on the next installment to the Dragon Ball series. Unfortunately for fans, we will have to wait much longer before anything even gets started.
Currently, new episodes are being released for the Dragon Ball Heroes anime series that is based on the arcade game of the same name. Dragon Ball Super: Broly was just released on DVD last week and it features our favorite Saiyans engaging in an epic battle with the mentally unstable “Legendary Super Saiyan” Broly.
Fans can also catch Dragon Ball Super new dubbed episodes on Saturdays at 11 pm ET/PT on Adult Swim.
