The wait is over, the Emmy winning Friends sitcom is coming to the big screen for its 25th anniversary. Friends premiered on September 22, 1994, and to commemorate its 25th anniversary Fathom Events is screening this special event: Friends 25th: The One with the Anniversary

Sadly, there will be no new episodes. But, this special event will feature 12 episodes total, 4 different episodes per showing and is coming to select theaters nationwide for 3 days only.

“We’re thrilled to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Friends, a TV show that continues to impact culture and attract new fans from across generations,” said Fathom Events CEO Ray Nutt. “Fans will have the opportunity to come together and look back on some of the most hilarious and emotional scenes from the acclaimed comedy — this time in theaters.”

The dates and episodes are:

Sept. 23: Pilot –ReDo, The One With The Black Out, The One With The Birth, The One Where Ross Finds Out

Sept. 28: The One With The Prom Video, The One Where No One’s Ready, The One With The Morning After, The One With The Embryos

Oct. 2: The One With Chandler In A Box, The One With Ross’s Wedding – Part 2, The One Where Everyone Finds Out, The One Where Ross Got High

Episodes will be digitally remastered in 4K and featured in high definition for the first time. Also featured will be exclusive interviews and never-before-seen-footage. This special event will be screened in over 1,000 theaters, although they have yet to be announced.

Tickets will go on sale August 16th through Fathom Events. So get your tickets early, before this special once in a lifetime event is sold out!
