The Mandalorian fans can now pre-order their very own life-size Baby Yoda.
As 2020 slowly begins to take shape, fans of The Mandalorian (and Baby Yoda in particular) have seen a few signs that merchandise is on its way, but so far there still isn’t a lot on offer. A recent announcement from Sideshow Collectibles via their Twitter account has revealed that a brand new, official life-size Baby Yoda figure is now available for pre-order via their website. You can see some images of the figure below, thanks to Steven Weintraub’s Twitter account. The images prove that this is by far the most authentic looking bit of Baby Yoda merchandise yet to arrive.
Of course, a premium figure such as this comes with a premium price tag, so those interested in preordering their own green little bundle of joy, which is expected to arrive between August and October, will have to shell out $350.
Baby Yoda — officially referred to by Lucasfilm as The Child — debuted in the final moments of the pilot episode of Disney+’s The Mandalorian. Despite featuring prominently in all eight episodes of Season 1, we still know very little about the character, though he does, apparently, have a real name that will likely be revealed in Season 2.
Created by Jon Favreau, The Mandalorian stars Pedro Pascal, Gina Carano, Carl Weathers, Giancarlo Esposito and Emily Swallow. Season 1 is available now on Disney+ and Season 2 arrives in fall 2020.
