Official Kate Bishop concept art from the Hawkeye TV show has been revealed.

As part of the Disney+ special Marvel Studios: Expanding the Universe, teasing the studio’s plans for original programming on the new digital platform, concept art from the miniseries was unveiled. The piece shows Jeremy Renner’s Hawkeye in action, sitting on the roof of a speeding car as his protege, Kate Bishop, drives the careening automobile while aiming at an unseen target.

Throughout this year, fans have gotten nuggets of information on Hawkeye. The series will deal with Clint Barton’s backstory, but fans are more excited that Kate Bishop will be joining the MCU by making her debut in Hawkeye. Bishop is a fan-favorite character from the Hawkeye comic books who takes up the Hawkeye mantle after Barton. Hailee Steinfeld was thought to be playing the character; however, her role in the Apple TV+ show Dickinson may prevent her from taking the MCU role.

Details on the Disney+ miniseries are currently under wraps but is expected to follow Clint as he trains Kate Bishop to become the new Hawkeye while shedding light on his time as the lethal superhero Ronin during the events of Avengers: Endgame.

Disney+ is now available in the United States. Starring Jeremy Renner as Clint Barton, Hawkeye is scheduled to premiere in Fall 2021.
