Jessica Jones Final Season

It’s confirmed the third and final season of Marvel’s Jessica Jones will be coming soon to viewers. A new Jessica Jones season 3 teaser poster was revealed earlier today.

The poster shows Jessica’s desk at her apartment/office, a nearly empty glass of what is likely whiskey, a pair of keys, a credit card receipt, and a bloodied business card for Alias Investigations. The poster reads, in bold letters, “The final season. Coming soon.” Whether or not this is the just final season on Netflix, or altogether, is left unknown.

Marvel’s Jessica Jones Series

Krysten Ritter’s performance as Jessica Jones has been well-received all around. Unfortunately, this did not stop Netflix from cancelling the show after season 3, along with the rest of the streaming service’s MCU shows. Following the ending of their original deal (which concluded with The Defenders).  Disney & Marvel will have to wait a few years before they’re able to bring back some of these shows on the new platform Disney+. It’s unknown if the show will continue after season 3 at all.

Each season has left fans and critics alike more than pleased. But the season 2 finale left viewers more eager than ever about the upcoming season. Fans have speculated that Hellcat will become an integral part of the new season. Perhaps even as the villain, since that spot was left unfilled in the finale. Jessica and Trish’s relationship is strained after Jess witnesses Trish taking the fatal shot at Alisa, Jessica’s estranged mother. So it will be interesting to see how season 3 explores this tension.

Another relationship that season 3 will likely explore is the professional one between Jeri (Carrie-Anne Moss) and Malcolm (Eka Darville). In the finale, Jeri hires Malcolm as an investigator at her new self-owned law firm.

Not much is known about the upcoming and possible final season of Jessica Jones. This new poster may confirm more than what meets the eye. An official release date was not announced yet, but fans can expect to see the binge-worthy Marvel show on their screens very soon.
