A new teaser for Marvel’s Runaways on Hulu introduces the team to Freeform’s Cloak and Dagger.
After two seasons where the plot revolved mostly around a hole in the ground, it looks as though Runaways is ready to deliver a more propulsive storyline. That storyline includes a seemingly worthwhile big bad in Morgan le Fay (Elizabeth Hurley), and a threat to Nico (Lyrica Okano), as she’s tempted by the darkness that’s within her. Check out the teaser trailer above.
Cloak & Dagger stars Aubrey Joseph and Olivia Holt appear at the tail end of the teaser. Nico, holding her staff, turns around to see the pair teleport into the room. With Dagger holding a light projection blade and Cloak asking Nico, “What the hell have you done?” we could see the Marvel heroes clash before eventually working together.
Streaming now on Hulu, Marvel’s Runaways stars Rhenzy Feliz, Lyrica Okano, Virginia Gardner, Ariela Barer, Gregg Sulkin, Allegra Acosta, Angel Parker, Ryan Sans, Annie Wersching, Kip Pardue, Ever Carradine, James Marsters, Brigid Brannagh, Kevin Weisman, Brittany Ishibashi and James Yaegashi. The series returns for its third season on Dec. 13, with all 10 episodes of the season released simultaneously.
