Netflix releases the She-Ra and the Princesses of Power season 4 trailer and posters ahead of its debut on November 5.
Season 4 will consist of 13 episodes, making it shorter than the previous two seasons. Along with the teaser and premiere date are a pair of new posters.
The trailer begins with She-Ra’s alter ego Princess Adora being told by a voice offscreen, “She-Ra is not the sword. She-Ra is you.” Princess Adora then unsheaths her sword and says the magic command, “For the honor of Grayskull!” before we get a montage of scenes displaying what to expect in Season 4.

Although the trailer is short and doesn’t show much, it teases mounting drama and excitement from a series that already has plenty of both, and there will likely be further full-length one at some point over the coming month. Glimmer’s emulation of her mother’s clothing taste likely ties in to the tendency of people who lose a parent at a young age to try to emulate them in an attempt to partially fill the void they left behind and remain feeling close to them even though they are gone. Catra’s appearance and clothing being less ragged is possibly an indicator that she is in far better control of her impulses and more at peace with who she is after having accepted that she and Adora will never be friends again.
Streaming now on Netflix, She-Ra and the Princesses of Power stars Aimee Carrero, Karen Fukuhara, AJ Michalka, Marcus Scribner, Reshma Shetty, Lorraine Toussaint, Keston John, Lauren Ash, Christine Woods, Genesis Rodriguez, Jordan Fisher, Vella Lovell, Merit Leighton, Sandra Oh and Krystal Joy Brown. Season 4 debuts on Nov. 5.
