The Stranger Things season 3 trailer has only been out for nearly a week and it has already become the most watched video on Netflix’s YouTube channel.
Sitting at over 21.5 million views, it has already surpassed season 2’s trailer that is currently sitting at 19 million views.
Stranger Things started off as a group of kids who were in a search of a friend who had mysteriously gone missing. These kids eventually encountered a girl who was able to help them rescue their missing friend with her psychokinetic abilities.

In the midst of their search, they discovered monsters from an alternate dimension known as the Upside-Down. Dealing with the supernatural events that take place throughout the series, the show evolved into one of the most popular sci-fi drama and horror series on Netflix.
Season 3 will be taking place in the summer of 1985. Not much is known about the specific plot details.
Created, written, and directed by the Duffer Brothers, season 3 will premiere on July 4 on the Netflix streaming service.
