Airing after the series finale, The Big Bang Theory will be featuring a farewell special. Titled Unraveling the Mystery: A Big Bang Farewell, this 30-minute episode will be hosted by series stars Johnny Galecki and Kaley Cuoco.
This news was announced by CBS on Monday as they will take viewers behind the scenes of the longest-running multi-camera comedy series in the history of television. The special will feature a tour of the iconic sets, unforgettable clips, and interviews.
According to CBS, Galecki and Cuoco will “lead fans on a trip down memory lane, sharing some of the best-kept backstage secrets and personal memories from the past 12 years. They will reveal their favorite moments playing beloved characters Leonard and Penny, and revisit some of the most memorable stories from “The Big Bang Theory Stage.”
Catch The Big Bang Theory farewell special on Thursday, May 16 at 9:30/8:30c after the one-hour series finale which will air at 8/7c the same day.
