Filming for The Boys season two started around the time the first season came out over the summer in Toronto. Based off a new Instagram post from Karl Urban, The Boys season two has now wrapped. Adapting the comic book series by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson of the same name, The Boys follows a group of misfit meta-humans tasked by the government to keep rogue superheroes in line and their heinous actions out of the public sphere. Led by Billy Butcher, the no-nonsense protagonist has a personal vendetta against Homelander, a secret sociopath and most popular superhero in the world.
The Boys stars Karl Urban as Billy Butcher, Jack Quaid as Hughie, Laz Alonso as Mother’s Milk, Tomer Kapon as Frenchie, Karen Fukuhara as the Female, Erin Moriarty as Annie January, Chace Crawford as the Deep, Antony Starr as Homelander and Simon Pegg as Hughie’s dad. A Season 2 premiere date has not yet been announced.
