In all his white and gold glory, Godspeed has been revealed. The new villain for Season 6 of The Flash.
The Flash veteran Danielle Panabaker will direct this week’s episode of The Flash, titled “Godspeed.” The CW has released the first official look at Godspeed, a potentially game-changing new speedster set to debut on the series tomorrow.
Godspeed has all of the traditional speedster powers but with the added ability to steal the Speed Force from others. He can also divide the Speed Force within his body to create a temporary clone. This allows him to team up on enemies. The first story arc featuring Godspeed saw a “Speed Force storm” give dozens of new Central City citizens speedster powers. Then Godspeed hunted them down to steal their powers to become stronger.
The character of August Heart initially started out as a friend of Barry Allen. But once he was revealed to be Godspeed, he went all villain.
The Flash airs on Tuesday nights at 7 p.m. Central time on The CW. “Godspeed” will premiere on April 16.
